Hi, I’m Rhyann.
I’m a busy college student attempting to navigate my way through classes and life, all the while trying to make and eat yummy food that is affordable and healthy (most times…).
I love trying new things and I’ll use this blog to show you interesting techniques, unique recipes, and all the fun stuff in between. I have a very handy cooking assistant for that…

My goal is to bring you recipes and cooking advice that make your experiences in the kitchen easier and more fun.
I love dessert and I will hardly ever turn down chocolate. Or peanut butter. Or the two of them together. So you’ll find a lot of my baking explorations on here, too.
I also enjoy trying new foods, so I’ll probably talk about that here too!

Often my recipes are from my own kitchen, developed by me. Other times I will find recipes online, in books, or in cooking magazines. In that case, I will mention the original recipe somewhere in my post.
I work really hard to make, photograph, and write about everything on my site. I would LOVE for you to share any my content, but I ask that you give credit where credit is due.
I hope you enjoy checking out my site and if you have an questions or comments, I’d love to hear them!
Happy Cooking!

Beautiful pic. And the recipes look delish! Want to come cook for me sometime? 😉
I really enjoy looking at your beautiful pictures. Will you be posting anything else soon? And also, have you ever cooked with curry? That is one of my own personal favorite flavors.
Thank you so much! I hope to be posting soon but I’ve been super busy. I really love cooking with curry. Butternut squash and curry is a favorite combination of mine. That’s a great idea though, I’ll try to look into it!
Hey there, How do I subscribe to this blog?

It is so, I don’t know the word that I’m looking for here, (enlightening, invigorating, exciting, wonderful, crazy good???) to find another college student who has a passion for cooking in the same way I do! I mean I’m sure there’s more of us crazy college foodies out there but I love, love, love that you’re blogging your way through school! I would love to be able to start a food blog; sadly, I think that won’t happen until this summer since my school life is crazy busy! But I digress, keep it up! Loving the healthy food and exercising!
Christa, thank you so much for your comment and kinds words! I would have to agree that it’s awesome that you are a fellow college cook. You probably know what I’m going through when I want to bake instead of study… 😉 If you do ever get a chance to start a blog, though, I’d totally recommend it. They are a lot of fun. Have a great day!

I just started blogging and I love it. Your blog is amazing, delicious and inspiring!!! Your photos are so beautiful. You love chocolate and peanut butter!? Have you tried Nutella? A hazelnut chocolate spread amazing with peanut butter. If you have time come and visit me! See you soon!! Ciao for now!!
I so much appreciate your kind words! And, yes I have a love affair with Nutella 🙂 It is currently in my pantry along with many varieties of peanut butter and this amazing stuff called Biscoff cookie butter (have you ever had that). I’ll definitely have to try some recipes with Nutella though. Most of the time it doesn’t last long enough for me to bake with it 😉 Have a great day!!!
Nutella is the favourite of all the children and adult in Italy and now it took over the world. I never had ‘Biscoff cookie butter’ I sure need to try them. I have several recipes with nutella. Here is the most simple one, whenever I get a craving; 2 slices of whatever type of bread you like add peanut butter and nutela simple, simple! Okay I’m sure you tried it already, but I promise, I will post Nutella recipes soon.
Thank you for comming to visit! Ciao for now!

Rhyann! Rhyann! Rhyann! 😀 AHHH. everything looks so DELECTABLE on here. 😉 I hope you’re doing well, and staying healthy. Also, how did the trip back to college go?
I hope your college classes are enjoyable and challenging. (But, not too challenging. haha) I don’t know how you find time to blog, with school and everything else, but, I’m glad you do!
You are just sooo gorgeous. I love how meticulous and orderly everything on your blog is. I know you work hard, and put a lot of time and effort into everything you do, and it really shows by just looking through your blog. Sorry about my appearance, last time you came!
I didn’t expect you to come, but, I’m glad you did. We love having you there! 🙂
Praying for an awesome school year! KEEP BLOGGING. 🙂 you’re greatttt.
Looking forward to our next school day together.

Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that you’ve been nominated the “One Lovely Blog Award.” =D
Thank you so much! I am honored that you thought of me 🙂
Love your recipe choices. I am anxious to try the soda bread, but would love to know your method for measuring. Do you dip, then sweep? Or do you spoon flour in cup, then sweep. I weigh ingredients, but if I knew the way you measure, the recipes would have a greater chance of success. Thanks for creating this great collection of recipes.
Hello Darlene,
I apologize for the late reply. I dip, then sweep with my flour. I also use a scale when I have access to one, but I would notate that in the recipe. I hope it works out well for you! 🙂
So fun to meet you last night – and get introduced to CCC! I have been enjoying perusing, and signed up for email updates! Visit me at http://www.cocoaandlavender.blogpsot.com – the more the merrier!
