I realize I’ve been a bit absent from the blog, so I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite recipes for Fall.
What is your favorite fall treat?
Breads/Muffins/Rolls/Crackers
Caraway-Rye Corn Muffins – This savory muffin is perfect for breakfast or alongside a delicious bowl of soup.
Homemade Seedy Crackers (v) – Pair with your favorite dip!
Pumpkin Pull-Apart Bread with Cinnamon-Sugar – Caramelized sugar and cinnamon come together (twerking obviously) to have a party on super tender, pumpkin yeast dough.
Pumpkin Streusel Swirl Bread (with vegan option) – This bread is one of the best pumpkin loaves I’ve ever made. It is very tender and moist with a delicious pumpkin flavor! It makes two loaves so give one to your favorite vegan and save the other for yourself!
Spiced Pumpkin Maple Beer Bread – The beer in the tasty pumpkin loaf helps to make it moist and delicious. Definitely give it a try!
Whole Wheat Challah Bread – Make into tiny challah rolls! Or eat all of it as a giant roll. I usually do the latter.
Fruit Desserts
Apple Crisp – This is always a favorite! Just trust me.
Crock Pot Applesauce (v/gf) – I love this simple applesauce! And it makes your house smell dreamy.
Warm Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake – The perfect breakfast treat. And snack. And after lunch snack. And after dinner dessert. Basically just eat it all the time.
Bars
Maple Fluffernutter Bars – Maple, peanut butter and marshmallow fluff come together to make a masterpiece.
Maple Pecan Shortbread Squares – These bars remind me of pecan pie. Except not at all…
Cake and Pie
Armenian Nutmeg Cake – This cake is super spicy and perfect with a cup of coffee on a cold day.
Crustless Cranberry Pie – I always have this in the Thanksgiving rotation because it’s so darn delicious
Gingersnap Pumpkin Pie with Pecan Streusel – This will become your new favorite pumpkin pie. It is out of this world.
Old-Fashioned Gooey Butter Cake – It has gooey and butter in the title. I think that is enough
Pumpkin Cake with Caramel, Chocolate Chips, and Walnuts – This cake has everything I could have ever hoped and dreamed for!
Vegan Chocolate Mousse Pie (v/gf) – I can’t believe this pie is vegan. It’s rich and chocolatey and has the most velvety texture.
Main Course/Sides
Caramelized Mushroom and Vegetable Pot Pie with Parmesan Biscuits – I love this vegetarian dish. It is so satisfying and warm.
Macaroni and Cheese with Tomatoes and Toasted Bread Crumbs – I make this mac and cheese for nearly every potluck I go. It’s easy, cheesy, and crowd pleasing.
Roasted Pesto Vegetables and Quinoa – A healthy vegetarian meal with seasonal veggies.
Simple Risotto – As the title suggests, this risotto is easy to make and very flavorful. It pairs wonderfully with poultry and fish.
Walnut-Raisin Stuffing with Sage – The year I made homemade stuffing, I knew that I would never go back to the box stuff again (unless it’s a random Sunday in July and you’re really craving stuffing)…
Soup and Salad
Roasted Butternut Squash Soup (v/gf) – This soup is one of my favorites. It’s very thick and hearty. It goes perfectly with a piece of bread.
Caesar Salad – I wouldn’t say this is particularly fall-ish, but we need salad right?
Charoset (v/gf) – The chewy dried fruit, toasted nuts, and sweet wine make this Passover favorite perfect for fall too! I feel like it’s so warm and cozy!
Pumpkin-Apple Soup (v/gf) – Sweet and Pumpkin-y. You’ll adore it.
Sweet Potato Soup with Yellow Split Peas (v/gf) – Another hearty favorite. You can definitely have this with a small salad for a full and filling meal.
Vanilla Scented Sweet Potato Bisque with Cinnamon Sugar Croutons – This is one of those soups that requires the “optional” toppings. The croutons that accompany this soup are a brilliant addition. And if you taste it, you’ll understand why.
